Hospital Asks for Internet Dispensation and Ambulance Movement when Nyepi
The Association of Indonesian Private Hospitals (ARSSI) Bali requested that the government provide concessions to their needs in the form of internet dispensation, hospital ambulances and television on Nyepi day. According to its Chairman Dr. dr. I.B.G. Fajar Manuaba, Sp.OG, MARS, Monday (3/16/2020) in Denpasar, through a letter sent to the Governor of Bali, they reasoned:
On the Nyepi Day in 2019 the Provincial Government of Bali adopted a policy to "exclude" internet access, television, and not to dispense hospital ambulance travel.
Therefore ARSSI asked Nyepi on March 25, 2020 to be able to dispensation with consideration
Internet access is needed to coordinate intensively via Whatsapp and Internet video so there is no delay in handling and preventing cases from increasing, both for COVID-19 and Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever.
Television is needed so that government and community communication are not disrupted in a National Disaster situation. Also preventing the emergence of misinformation or the nature of HOAX actually creates unnecessary public panic.
While the Hospital Ambulance should be allowed to move without having to be accompanied by Pecalang. At the time of the National Disaster situation, Hospital Ambulance is needed to send patients in addition to that it is required for logistical and HR exchange between Hospitals.
At present there are limitations to the Personal Protective Equipment, surgical masks, and N95 masks. So it is not possible to prepare a Self Protection Tool that has been limited to Pecalang.
Also requested that the Hospital Ambulance trip is not obstructed by Pecalang examinations because the Hospital Ambulance trip is carried out with very selective and clear objectives.
